| Came at the scheduled time with a reservation in a four beds room. When arrived, employee told me there were no available room anymore. However, I was “lucky” since he told me there was still a free bed for the first night (over two I had reserved) in dormitory of another hotel. Without any discount of course. What do you think of that: two nights in a seedy dormitory, no bed for the second night (only mattress), for 100 €. I must be honest and fair, I was entitled to not pay the city tax, great isn't it? | |

We are conveniently situated in the heart of Amsterdam’s historical city center at a five minutes walking distance to the Central Station.
The location is an ideal starting point for exploring Amsterdam’s versatile attractions right on your doorstep:
The Dam Square, the Royal Palace, the Red Light District, and the 'Jordaan' area with numerous cafés, art galleries, local boutiques, hip clubs and trendy cocktails bars are only a few steps away.
You can visit Madame Tussauds, take beautiful photos of the 'Koninklijk Paleis', visit an exposition in the 'Nieuwe Kerk' or stroll in the shops of the Kalverstraat or Magna Plaza shopping center.
Take a boat tour past traditional canal houses, old bridges and converted warehouses, or browse through the flea market on Waterlooplein.
The 'Anne Frank Huis' and the Jewish Museum are in the vicinity as well.
And also not to be missed is the Heineken Experience in the old Heineken Brewery.
The hotel is easy to reach by public transport, from the central train station as well as from Schiphol Airport.

There are single, double (two person bed), twin (two seperate single beds), triple (one single and one double bed or three seperate beds) and quad rooms available with either shared or private facilities.

Check in time is 14.00hrs but early check in may be possible if the room is available
Payment by credit card will bring a service charge of 5% extra on the total amount.
Please note that cancellation needs to be informed at least 48 hours before arrival.
From now on, the cancellation can ONLY be made via e-mail so that there is a proof for both guest and hostel.
In case of no show, the frist night will be charged from your credit card.
It is guest's responsibility to inform the hostel about late arrival, otherwise the beds will be kept for 2 hours after the estimated arrival time.
