| It was dirty, creepy, and uncomfortable — but because the location was so good, we didn't spend much time there and it didn't ruin an otherwise great trip. There was what appeared to be a blood stain in the sheets and it smelled mildew-y but there was a friendly cat which was nice. Better values can be found, so this should be nearly a last resort. | |

Hotel Tamara is a small family run hotel in the centre of Amsterdam and it offers single, double, triple and quad rooms; there is also a small dormitory.
NO CHECK IN AFTER 6.00 p.m.!! Check out at anytime up to 10.00 a.m.
The hotel Tamara is five minutes walking from the central station of Amsterdam, close to Dam square and in the centre of the nightlife of the city.
The Anne Frank house is five minutes walking and Hotel Tamara is less than ten minutes by tram from all the museums.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
Every guest will receive a guide book and map of Amsterdam at the check in.
There is no curfew so you can fully enjoy the nightlife.
Hotel Tamara has a safety deposit box for your valuables.
We like people to arrive as early as possible, if arriving later or if there is a delay please phone us .
On check in we ask you to pay in cash as we don't have credit card facilities.
We also have an Irish bar called The Blarney Stone where all our guests will receive a free welcoming drink.
In the bar we have Sky sports and Irish tv channels where you can watch whatever sport you like.
