Amsterdam is the largest and capital city of netherlands. it is in the west of the country and part of the north holland province. it is also the center for finance and culture. it has a productive architectural history.
Renaissance buildings are highlights in the Dazzling City of Amsterdam. There are baroque and Gothic styles also.
The highest church tower is the magnificent Westertoren. The oldest wooden building is the het Houten Huys while the oldest building is the Oude Kerk or Old Church. Bed & Breakfast has an atmosphere of a boat with modern furnishings. You can stay carefree in the spacious sundecks with beautiful view of the surrounding. There are comfy bunk beds, wash basin, shower, toilets and central heating. Basic needs and breakfast are provided for free. Private rooms are just for 26 Euros.
Hostel The Globe Center is in the area of Red Light District and facing the historical canals of de Wallen. Few minutes of walk will take you stations, Dam Square, Rembrandt Square, coffee shops, shopping streets and flower market in Centrum area. It is in the quiet neighborhood and excluded from the traffic clamor.
It has dorms with complete modern facilities. Sharing a room will cost 14 Euros for each person and private room is for 65 Euros. Its sports bar as the biggest in the district can have services for your own convenience. You can sit in there and watch major sports events on big screens or take time to play in the dart boards and pool tables. It can also serve delicious meals.
There are rules to be followed for fair comfort to each and everyone like putting noises and parties at the bar. There should be no smoking inside the rooms and shared dorms aren’t for those who are under 16 years old. If regulations have been disobeyed, you will leave the place without refunds.
Hotel Sphinx is in the core of the city along with markets, shopping areas and entertainment centers. You can walk to any point of interest like Heineken brewery, Van Gogh museum, Rijk museum, Wetering circuit and even the night life. It has an elegant breakfast room in a romantic style of Old Dutch. Private room is for 46 Euros while sharing a room will be 13 Euros per person.
