Amsterdam city centre is famous for its numerous bars, canals, shops and museums. What could be more fun than having your home base in the heart of the city that never sleeps? And at Stayokay Amsterdam Stadsdoelen, you can meet travellers from all over the world. The moment you step outside, you’re bang in the middle of vibrant Amsterdam. Beside bars, restaurants and shops, you will also find theatres, cinemas and museums nearby.The flea market at Waterlooplein is within walking distance. And if you would like to see the city from the canal, simply hop on the water bus at one of the stops nearby. Or take the museum boat, whose route leads past the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum and many more. Our rates include takeaway breakfast, bed linen and tourist tax. Discount for Hostelling International members is € 2,50 per person per night. Towels and padlocks for the luggage lockers next to the dorms are not included, you can buy them at the reception(or you can bring your own of course). We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Euro/MasterCard and American Express. Check-in: Please be advised that check-in starts at 7.30 am. However, our rooms are only available after 2 pm. Luggage can be temporarily stored in lockers for a small fee. Ticket sales: At the reception we sell (discount) tickets for bicycle rent, Van Goghmuseum, Rijksmuseum, canal tours and lots more.
